Steel Bars & Component Materials

Steel bars, grinding rods and drawing-led semi-finished materials, selected for the part you make.

From round bar to the stage you need

Choose Where JOTAIN Enters Your Process

Supply can begin with raw round bar or continue through heat treatment, surface preparation, semi-finished processing and application-oriented delivery.

  1. 01Raw Round BarHot rolled or forged material selected around grade, size and the next operation.
  2. 02Heat-Treated BarQ&T or another matched condition built around the required mechanical route.
  3. 03Processed Semi-Finished BarPeeled, turned or prepared surface for buyers moving into machining.
  4. 04Prepared for FinishingMaterial prepared for threading, plating, grinding, polishing or further treatment.
  5. 05Application-Oriented SupplySemi-finished or mature component forms supplied around the actual part route.

The same alloy steel bar can require a very different route depending on what the customer intends to manufacture.

A steel grade is only one part of the decision. JOTAIN connects the final component with material choice, supplied condition, heat treatment, surface processing, inspection and export delivery.

The Grade Does Not Define the Complete Supply Route

Why start from the component?

The Grade Does Not Define the Complete Supply Route

01

Part Function Changes the Requirement

The same grade can require a different heat-treatment, surface, tolerance and inspection route depending on the component.

02

Supply Stage Changes the Buyer’s Work

Raw bar, Q&T bar, peeled bar, ground bar and semi-finished supply leave very different amounts of processing at the customer’s factory.

03

Inspection Should Follow the Risk

Straightness may lead a hydraulic-rod review; fatigue and UT may lead a shaft review; hardness profile and kg/t may lead a grinding-rod review.

04

One Route Reduces Handoffs

Material, processing, inspection, marking, packing and RFQ context remain connected.

Start from the part. Then confirm the grade.
