1. Who is responsible for the website

JOTAIN Materials is operated by Jotain Materials Co., Ltd. In this notice, “JOTAIN,” “we,” and “our” refer to that company. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to[email protected]. Please write “Privacy request” in the subject and identify the inquiry or correspondence concerned so we can verify and respond to the request.

This notice applies to jotainmaterials.com, its localized pages, the online RFQ form, and direct website-related communications. A signed contract, accepted purchase order, employment process, or another specifically governed relationship may have additional notices and recordkeeping requirements.

2. Information the site handles

Information you provide

When you send an RFQ or email, the information may include your contact name, company, business email address, product or application, grade and standard, dimensions, quantity, delivery condition, destination, certificate or inspection needs, message, and any drawings or specifications sent separately. Please avoid sending personal information that is not needed for the industrial inquiry.

Technical and security information

Hosting and security systems necessarily receive request information such as IP address, date and time, requested path, browser or user agent, and network or error data. For accepted RFQs, the application stores a salted hash derived from the connection identifier for abuse control; it does not store the raw IP address in the inquiry row. A random submission identifier is also used to prevent duplicate records.

Preferences and optional statistics

The language selector stores the selected locale in browser local storage underjotain-preferred-locale. The analytics choice is stored in thejotain_analytics_consent cookie, which expires after 183 days unless it is replaced or cleared. If analytics is allowed, the site may send page-path and limited interaction events to Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics. RFQ field values, contact name, company, and email address are not included in the analytics event payload designed by this site.

3. Why the information is used

• Inquiry handling: to review requirements, ask technical questions, prepare or discuss a quotation, and maintain the related business correspondence.
• Requested pre-contract steps: to assess whether a proposed material, processing, inspection, packing, and delivery route can support the buyer’s stated need.
• Security and service integrity: to validate Cloudflare Turnstile tokens, limit abusive submission rates, troubleshoot failures, prevent duplicate RFQs, and protect the website and recipients.
• Business records and legal duties: to preserve necessary evidence of inquiries, quotations, accepted orders, disputes, compliance checks, and security events.
• Optional website improvement: only after consent, to understand aggregate page use and improve technical-resource and quotation routes.

Depending on the visitor’s location and the context, processing may rely on requested pre-contract steps, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, JOTAIN’s legitimate interests in B2B communication and service security, or consent for optional analytics. Consent can be changed using “Website preferences” in the footer. Refusing analytics does not prevent access to the site or the RFQ path.

4. Service providers and necessary recipients

The website uses Cloudflare infrastructure for hosting, delivery, security, Cloudflare Turnstile, and Cloudflare D1 inquiry storage. Cloudflare may process network and browser signals needed to provide those services; its own practices are described in theCloudflare Privacy Policy andTurnstile documentation.

If you consent and the measurement IDs are configured, Google Analytics may process limited usage data. JOTAIN’s implementation keeps analytics storage denied until a choice is granted, disables Google Signals and advertising-personalization signals, and does not intentionally send RFQ contents. Within JOTAIN, access should be limited to personnel who need the information for inquiry, technical, commercial, security, finance, legal, or order work. Where needed to answer or perform a request, relevant details may be shared with a candidate mill, processor, inspector, logistics provider, professional adviser, or authority. Only information reasonably necessary for that purpose should be shared. Provider processing may occur outside the visitor’s jurisdiction, subject to applicable law and the provider’s contractual safeguards.

5. Retention criteria

How long information remains necessary depends on the inquiry’s status, whether a quotation or order follows, the need to preserve technical and commercial context, security and duplicate-prevention needs, applicable limitation periods, and tax, customs, trade, quality, or other recordkeeping obligations. JOTAIN should delete or anonymize information when those purposes no longer require identifiable data, subject to legal holds and required transaction records. A request to delete information will be assessed against those criteria and any overriding legal obligation or defense-of-claims need.

6. Choices and privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, a person may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, or object to certain processing. Consent may be withdrawn for future optional analytics through Website preferences. A request may require reasonable identity verification, and some records may need to be kept where law or a legal claim requires it. Where local law provides it, a person may also complain to the competent data-protection authority. Contacting JOTAIN first at [email protected] can help identify and resolve the specific record. JOTAIN does not use the website RFQ to make a solely automated decision that has legal or similarly significant effects; Turnstile and rate controls screen abuse, and direct email remains available.

7. Security and updates

JOTAIN uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to reduce unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. These include encrypted transport, controlled service credentials, server-side validation, salted identifiers, rate limiting, and restricted public access to inquiry records. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure; do not use the public form for export-controlled, highly sensitive, or specially regulated data without first agreeing an appropriate channel.

This notice may change when site behavior, service providers, or legal requirements change. The visible date and structured dateModified value identify the current published version. Material changes should be reflected here before or when the related processing begins.
