Steel tools and public data

Useful before the quotation starts.

Reconcile a grinding rod trial, calculate theoretical bar weight, download reusable data, or turn the result into a clearer RFQ. No account is required.

Four tools and datasets, with their assumptions explained.

Calculator

Grinding rod trial ledger

Reconcile gross kg/t, keep recovered removals visible, compare baseline and trial blocks, and download the same calculation structure as an Excel workbook.

Open trial ledger →
Calculator

Round bar weight calculator

Estimate kg/m, weight per bar, total kilograms, and metric tonnes from diameter, length, quantity, and an editable density.

Open calculator →
Dataset

Round bar theoretical weight table

Browse common diameters or download the full 1–400 mm table as CSV or JSON. Every row uses the published formula and density basis.

RFQ reference

Alloy steel RFQ route dataset

Compare six public JOTAIN grade routes without treating cross-standard designations as automatic substitutes.

Documents for purchasing and technical review

Download the file you need.

Templates, calculation files, reference data and certificate originals are collected here. Check each file's stated scope and version before use. Blank worksheets are templates for your records.

Purchase order and MTC review checklist

Compare the purchase requirements with the material certificate and record open points.

Grinding rod wear observation sheet

Record operating conditions, observations and sample identity before evaluating rod wear.

Shaft material selection worksheet

Collect service conditions and material requirements for a drawing and grade review.

Grinding rod trial ledger

Use the workbook alongside the online ledger to record and compare trial blocks.

Alloy steel RFQ route dataset

Compare six grade routes with their sources and specification checks; confirm any proposed substitution.

Round bar theoretical weight table

Reuse the published diameter, density and calculation basis when estimating theoretical mass.

Supply-route evidence register

Review the evidence types, holders and public verification references for a proposed supply route.

When the estimate is ready

Add the details needed for a quotation.

Weight is only one line in a steel bar inquiry. A workable quotation still needs the grade and controlling standard, diameter and tolerance, length, quantity, condition, inspection documents, packing, and destination.

Use the estimate to compare order quantities and freight scenarios, but keep theoretical mass separate from actual shipment weight. Commercial settlement must follow the accepted dimensional tolerances, weighing basis, and order terms rather than an unlabelled calculator result.
