Bars and processed components
Post-tensioning bars & machined couplers
JOTAIN supplies post-tensioning bars, threaded bars, machined couplers and bolts. Combine round-bar supply with heat treatment, cutting, threading and machining to your order specification.

What we supply
Bars, connection components and processing
Post-tensioning and threaded bars
Specify the bar standard, steel grade, diameter, length, strength requirements and thread geometry. Heat treatment, cutting and thread processing follow the accepted order.
- Drawing inputs
- Identify full-length threading or threaded ends. Specify the thread profile, pitch, handedness, threaded length and engagement with the mating component.
- Inspection to agree
- Agree bar straightness, finished dimensions, mechanical testing and thread checks, with records linked to the heat or batch.
Machined couplers and sleeves
Supply the controlled drawing, mating bar or thread specification, material, dimensions and acceptance tests. Internal threads and connection dimensions are quoted to that drawing.
- Drawing inputs
- Send both the coupler and mating-bar drawings, including revisions. Specify material, internal thread, engagement length, outside diameter and overall length.
- Inspection to agree
- Agree the thread gauges or drawing-defined checks, dimensional report and traceability. State any required assembled-connection test and acceptance criteria.
Bolts, studs and prepared ends
Order processed bolts, studs or bar ends with the required heat treatment, thread, machining allowance, surface protection and inspection scope.
- Drawing inputs
- Mark thread and shank dimensions, head or end geometry, tolerances and any finishing required after heat treatment.
- Inspection to agree
- Agree material and property tests, thread inspection, surface condition and marking for the delivered bolt, stud or prepared end.
For a post-tensioning application, bar and component conformity must be checked against the project specification and the selected system. System design, anchorage qualification, stressing equipment and installation remain with the specified system provider and project team.
Quotation checklist
Send the drawing and the required supply stage
Tell us whether you need round-bar stock, heat-treated blanks or processed components. The quotation will define the material, operations, delivered condition and inspection scope.
- Product and standard
- Identify PT bar, threaded bar, coupler, bolt or stud; attach the governing specification and current drawing.
- Material and properties
- State the grade, delivery condition, mechanical requirements, test method and sampling position.
- Dimensions and threads
- Give diameter, length, tolerances, thread form, pitch, thread length and mating-part requirements.
- Quantity and delivery
- Give pieces or tonnage, destination, packing, marking, certificate and inspection requirements.
- PT bar dimensions
- Diameter range: 15–75 mm. Standard length: 11.8 m; custom lengths by agreement. Available diameters depend on the strength series.
- PT bar strength series
- Yield/ultimate strength series, MPa: 500/550, 670/800, 830/1030 and 930/1080. Confirm the bar size, thread, mating components and inspection requirements in the quotation.
