Specify the finished bar and the processing sequence together.
QT, peeled, ground, machined, threaded, coated and chrome-plated each describe only part of the work. Specify the starting condition, facility, sequence, machining allowance and finished requirements. Agree inspection points, how identification is carried between operations, any subcontracted work and the records required before release.
A process description is not proof that every facility, size, sequence, tolerance, or inspection scope is available. The applicable route and performing party are confirmed for the order.
